Privacy Policy

Uin4 is a group scheduling app. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. There's no advertising here and we don't sell your data.

Account info: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, we never see it in plain text).

Phone number: optional, used for SMS notifications and verified by text before we'll use it.

Social sign-in: if you sign in or link a Google, Apple, or Facebook account, we receive your name, email, and an account identifier from that provider.

Group & event info: group names and descriptions, event details, and your attendance responses. Anything you type into a group or event is visible to that group's other members.

Notification settings: your preferences for email, SMS, or push notifications per notification type, and the technical details needed to deliver a push notification to your browser if you enable it.

Basic technical data: standard web request logs (like IP address and browser user-agent) kept for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

To run the app: create your account, manage your groups and events, and track attendance.

To notify you: send the reminders and updates you've asked for.

To keep the app working: troubleshoot problems and block automated signups.

We use a few external services to run Uin4, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

Amazon Web Services: hosts the app and sends our email and text notifications.

Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that new signups aren't bots.

Google, Apple, or Facebook: only if you choose to sign in or link one of those accounts.

Your calendar app: if you copy your personal calendar link into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other app, that service will fetch your event details directly from us. That's your choice, and it's covered by that service's own privacy policy, not ours.

We don't sell your information or share it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone else outside of what's listed here.

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to protect against cross-site request forgery. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, and we don't use any analytics cookies.

Your information is stored for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you do, we immediately:

• Delete your account, including your name, email, phone number, and password.
• Delete your push notification subscriptions.
• Remove you from every group's member and administrator lists.

Past event attendance is kept so historical attendance counts and team assignments stay accurate, but it's reattributed to a generic "Deleted user" instead of your name, so it's no longer tied to your identity.

You can update your info, change your notification preferences, or delete your account from your profile at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Uin4 isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
